About us:

Kuntur Macrame is created and performed by me, David Cevallos. I am originally from Quito, the capital of Ecuador. But, in the last years, I have been traveling around the world. During my journeys, I learned the technique of macrame, beginning when I was in Paraguay few years ago.

After some years, and having spent some time in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Russia and Germany, I have set up a business around my macrame work. Sharing space with different colleagues from varied sides of the world, in multiple markets and street handicrafts fairs, I have developed new ways to create various types of products based in macrame technique: necklaces, bracelets, pendants, earrings, etc.

Currently, I am based on Melbourne, Australia. Also, I am studying Jewelry Design and, at the same time, I participate in different Melbourne weekend markets, such as CERES Market (Brunswick East) and Esplanade Market (Saint Kilda).
